UB — Punk City

 This Day in History

April 19, 1981

On Easter Sunday 1981, the punks of Punk City gathered in the Metalkort to sign the Epistle Dedicatory of The Boomer Bible and crown their King, St. Nuke.

Here is the text of the Epistle Dedicatory:

Here is a sample of the band signatures memorialized with the text on that day.

The April 19 date is also, tragically the day St. Nuke was assassinated, along with his consort, Alice Hate, Queen of the Punks. Present at the scene was the punk writer warrior Insect Brain, who provides the only eyewitness testimony of the murders.

The punk writers no longer live on South Street in Punk City, but the Boomer Bible survives in print and on the Internet at TheBoomerBible.com.
